The Tourism, Hospitality & Catering Institute of Australia is a professional organisation drawing its membership from all facets of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. It has been established for over 40 years (formerly the Catering Institute of Australia) in NSW alone.
It is an organisation which aims to provide a framework of activities and services for its members to enable them to improve their level of skill and ability in whichever sector of the industry they are engaged, and particularly seeks to provide avenues to improve skills in areas such as management and human resources, which will facilitate progress along the industry career path chosen by the member.
